1. Scope
This policy applies to personal information collected through eritajfm.com and website features operated by Radio 1804, Éritaj FM, a division of The InterfineArt Group, LLC. It covers information submitted through mailing-list signup, partner or artist forms, contact forms, promotions, applications, community features and similar website interactions.
Third-party websites and services linked or embedded on Éritaj FM have their own privacy practices. Section 7 explains this distinction.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the Site, we may collect information you provide voluntarily, including:
- Name and email address.
- Country, city, interests or other optional profile information you choose to provide.
- Artist, creator, sponsor, partner or event information submitted through forms.
- Messages, comments, applications, testimonials or other communications you send to us.
Our hosting and technical systems may also receive basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages requested, approximate network location, timestamps and server-log information.
We do not ask mailing-list subscribers to provide sensitive financial, medical, government-identification or password information through ordinary subscription forms.
3. How We Use Information
We may use information to operate and secure the Site, respond to inquiries, review artist or partner submissions, administer station activities, improve website performance, understand audience interests, prevent abuse, maintain records, comply with law and communicate about Éritaj FM programs and opportunities.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we may rely on consent, performance of a requested service or agreement, compliance with legal obligations, or legitimate interests such as operating, securing and improving the Site.
4. Mailing List and Éritaj Circle
If you join the Éritaj FM mailing list or Éritaj Circle, we may use your email address and the preferences you provide to send station news, program announcements, cultural features, artist news, events, new releases, community opportunities and similar updates.
Joining the mailing list is voluntary. Marketing emails will include a way to unsubscribe. You may also request removal by contacting jacompas@eritajfm.com.
We do not sell or rent the Éritaj FM mailing list. We may use an email-delivery provider to send messages on our behalf, and that provider may process subscriber information only as necessary to provide its service and subject to its own legal obligations and privacy terms.
5. Sharing and Service Providers
We may disclose limited information to service providers that help us operate the Site or requested services, such as web hosting, email delivery, analytics, security, streaming, form processing, payment processing or technical support.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, regulatory requirements, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or security incidents, or complete a lawful business transaction involving the Site or its operator.
Éritaj FM does not currently sell personal information for money or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Cookies, Server Logs and Analytics
The Site may use cookies, local storage, server logs or similar technologies for basic functionality, security, preferences and audience measurement. Embedded third-party content may also use cookies or similar technologies according to the third party's own policies.
You can usually control cookies through your browser settings. Restricting cookies may affect some website or embedded-media functions.
Do Not Track
Because there is not a single universally accepted technical standard for browser "Do Not Track" signals, the Site does not currently respond to those signals in a standardized way. We will update this policy if our practices materially change.
7. Third-Party Services and External Links
Éritaj FM may link to or embed services such as Live365, YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, Dynasty Haiti, Amazon, PayPal, Facebook, Instagram, X and other artist, cultural or media platforms.
When you follow a link, play embedded media, purchase from an external service or otherwise interact with a third party, that third party may collect information under its own privacy policy and terms. Éritaj FM does not control those independent privacy practices.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to maintain appropriate operational records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements or comply with legal requirements.
When someone unsubscribes from marketing email, we may retain limited information necessary to record and honor the opt-out request.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration. No website, internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.
10. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
You may contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information that you have provided to us, subject to applicable law and legitimate recordkeeping requirements.
You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent for future processing.
Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional rights, including rights to know what data is held, request correction or deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, receive certain data in a portable form, or lodge a complaint with a competent privacy authority.
11. International Visitors
Éritaj FM is operated from the United States and serves an international cultural audience. Information submitted to the Site may therefore be processed in the United States or by service providers in other countries.
For visitors whose information is protected by the GDPR or similar privacy laws, we aim to provide clear information about processing and to respect applicable rights concerning access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability and withdrawal of consent where those rights apply.
12. Children's Privacy
The Site and mailing list are intended for a general audience and are not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 was submitted without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy when our website, technology, legal obligations or privacy practices change. The current version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
